ART FOR
EARTH DAY
Saint
Francis 8th graders created a photo collage showing the beauty of
recycled products. Each student brought a shoebox and a variety of
recyclable goods. They then used these objects to create a
composition inside their shoebox using the recycled objects. Once
done, a group of 8th graders photographed each box, looking for
interesting, abstracted compositions. The photos were then
assembled into a large collage which was displayed in a Valley Junction
store front. These images are not of the actual piece that was
displayed, but contain some of the photographs which were used.

THE
LAST SUPPER
Seventh
grade students guided by Miss Anderson, our student teacher, created a
reproduction of the classic DaVinci work "The Last Supper" using
a nontraditional material...TAPE!
It is
located just outside of the art room and will be on display during Lent.
Don't just "duct" out after your conferences...feel free to "stick"
around and check it out! It won't "tape" you very long. (hardy har
har!)
