Prayer
for Peace
Lord, Make me an instrument of your peace.
Where there is hatred, let me sow love;
Where there is injury, pardon;
Where there is doubt, faith;
Where there is despair, hope;
Where there is darkness, light;
And where there is sadness, joy.
O Divine Master,
Grant that I may not so much seek to be consoled
As to console;
To be understood as to understand;
To be loved as to love;
For it is in giving that we receive;

SCHOOL
CLOSING INFORMATION
Can be found on the SFA websites home page. You may register through
your local TV channel to receive emails regarding school cancelation or
early dismissals. Please link to the following site:

The decision to cancel school for the day will be made
in cooperation with Sacred Heart School. Sacred Heart School follows
West Des Moines Public School closings and cancellations. If the West
Des Moines Public Schools have a late start due to weather, St. Francis
of Assisi School will have a late start. If there is a late start there
will be no AM kindergarten. If the West Des Moines Schools have an early
dismissal due to weather, St. Francis of Assisi School will have an
early dismissal. If there is an early dismissal, there will be no PM
kindergarten.
