ST. FRANCIS KIDS CARE PROGRAM GOALS
To provide a quality program of consistent childcare before and
after school that reflects the values, policies and philosophy of
St. Francis of Assisi School and Church.
To provide a secure and comfortable environment for the students with a
variety of activities which include games, arts and crafts, reading,
and music and homework time.
To take attendance daily and have each child accounted for after school.
BEFORE AND AFTER SCHOOL CARE PROGRAM
Kids Care is designed for before and after
school child care for St. Francis of Assisi School children.
Before school hours are from 7:00 AM to 8:20 AM and after
school hours are from 3:15 PM to 6:00 PM. Breakfast is
served in the morning and a snack is served after school. During
the school year, care is provided during school vacation and
professional development days. The program strives to
establish a safe, structured and enjoyable atmosphere for
all children. If you are interested in Kids Care or
Kindergarten Care, please contact the Kids Care Director at
457-7167.
Preschool students
are NOT allowed in the Kids Care program due to childcare
laws/licensure.
Daily activities after school include free play inside and
outside in good weather, board games, arts and crafts and
time for homework. A snack is also provided.
Students may leave
the Kids Care program for in-building extra curricular
activities providing written parental permission is on
record.
For safety
reasons, parents must sign their child(ren) in and out of
Kids Care daily.
Registration for
2008-2009 Now Through April 30, 2008
LATE REGISTRATION FEE-
A $5.00 late registration fee will apply after April 30, 2008.

REGISTRATION FEES-
Registration fees are the same $25.00 for a new student, $10.00
for a returning student. Please read the Kids Care handbook
and return the back page with your registration. Handbooks
will be coming out soon.
